Alone Time

Kaylee smiled- keeping her eyes closed she she heard Simon whisper in her ear. She opened her eyes and turned to face him. "There you are." She leaned in and kissed him passionately. "I was wondering what was taking so long. Where's Daniel?" She said sitting up slightly.

Simon simply said "Thats a very good question..." He thought for a second, but then shook his head and kissed Kaylee's neck before saying "Im sure he's fine."

Kaylee smiled as Simon kissed her neck. Kaylee knew Daniel would be fine. She could render a guess or two at where he could be- but she knew he was alright. She knew her son and she knew he wouldn't do anything that could cause any stir amongst the crew. She smiled and close her eyes again. She knew since she was in the arms of the one she loved- she would sleep well. Knowing he was there, holding her and keeping her safe.

Kaylee woke and looked around. Because of her own "biological clock" as Simon once called it- she naturally woke up at about the same time, around mid-morning. She looked around her and saw Simon asleep next to her and Haven in her bed. She still didn't see Daniel though. But she didn't worry about him- she knew he was fine. She turned herself over and laid on her side, facing Simon. She placed a hand on his face and kissed him lightly. "Hey- it's almost 8:30. You can stay here for a bit if you want." She smiled, not sure if he actually heard her. Even if he didn't, she knew he'd wake up when he was ready. She got up and went to Haven's bed. She sat on the edge and smiled. Her daughter was so beautiful when she slept. She always had been since the day she was born. She looked so peaceful, she almost hated to wake her up. "Haven? Sweetheart, it's almost 8:30. Did you want to sleep longer or do you want to get up now?" She gently shook Haven to wake her.

((Okay so I'm assuming Simon is still here- and...yeah Haven wake up lol.))

Haven was not a good morning person when dreaming. Squirming around, she grinded her head into her pillow, yawning. She remembered her promise to James. “I don’t want to.” She mainly spoke into the pillow, her words slightly muffled. “But I have to.” Her mom may not understand why though. Sitting up, she looked around. Her dad was still in bed. Taking a pillow, she threw it at him. He could stay there, but she felt like throwing a pillow at him. Her yawn was wide.

Throwing her covers back, she searched for some clothes. Some jeans and a tank top for the day. Hugging her mom, she kissed her cheek. “I have a promise.” With that, she just kind of left.

Simon

Simon stirred when Kaylee kissed him, but he didnt wake up fulyl till she had gone to wake up Haven. As Haven left the shuttle, he said "Why did that bother me so much? the way she left..." he scratched his bare chest, and leaning forwards, he took Kaylees hand, pulling her towards him lightly.

Kaylee arched an eyebrow as Haven spoke into her pillow. She watched as Haven threw a pillow at Simon before she got up. She didn't say a word to either of her parents before leaving the shuttle. She turned to Simon as he asked himself why he didn't like how Haven left. "I suppose a 'good morning mom and dad' would've made it a little better." Kaylee said moving closer to him as he pulled her lightly. She smiled and sat on the edge of the bed; moving her arm across him to rest her hand on the bed. "Oh well- we can make ours better." She leaned down and kissed him passionately. "Good morning." She pulled away smiling wide as ever. She climbed onto the bed over Simon and laid next to him, hugging his arm close to her. "How do you sleep?"

Simon smiled and kissed Kaylee back and said "Yes, good morning indeed." with a smile. "Well, thank you. you?" he replied, lyeing back and putting his arm around her shoulder and he kissed her again, on the forehead this time, and smiled at her.

Kaylee smiled as Simon put his arm around her. "I slept alright I guess." She looked down at the blanket and followed the pattern with her finger. "So, what are your plans for the day? I mean I know you're part of the big job- but I have no idea what the details are." She smirked. "I think I zoned out during dinner a little." She chuckled to herself. She was upset that she couldn't help with the job and go with Simon instead of Inara; but she understood why. She knew that even if she dressed up in the best dress ever made- she still wouldn't look like anything more than a common girl trying to pretend. She shook the thoughts from her head and brought herself closer to Simon. She wished they could stay this way forever- and never have to leave each other, even if only for a little while.

"Dont worry." He said, then he whispered in her ear "I think I did aswell."and laughed queitly before saying "Im not sure, I guess i should check up with the others in a little while. Not too soon though." he added, and passionately kissed Kaylee.

Kaylee smiled as SImon said he didn't want to go too soon. She smiled against his lips as he kissed her. "Well that's a good thing." She replied sarcastically, parting from him only for a moment. She looked at him slyly before speaking again. "Doctor- I think I hurt myself...right here." She smiled and pointed to the side of her mouth. "It's a little hard to see, you might have to examine it closely." She winked and smiled- waiting to see his reaction.

"Let me get a closer look then." Simon said, and leaned in and kissed her passionately. he whispered "That make it any better?" as he ran his hands down her sides to her thighs.
