Alora strolled into the common room. It was nicely furnished, and looked quaint. Obviously done by one of the girls on the ship, possibly even her mother. A wide and bright smile lit across her face (and not an evil smirk mind you). She was here, in their home. And now... now she was going to drop the bomb on the two of them. Oh joy. Lora looked behind her to see James enter. "well aren't we a might slow today?" she smirked, and sat down in one of the chairs. Rearranging a pillow behind her back, eventually just pulling it out from behind her and setting it in her lap. Bored out of her mind, she played with the tassles.

James walked in hands on his head, "Nah, just taken my time..." James leaned against the wall. This room was a little empty, he liked it this way. "So, what's your story? Why you on this rock?" James didn't want to seem nosy, but he didn't want to sit in complete silence.

"It's actually none of your business. It something I have to share with the Captain first. It's a bit personal. In short I'm an escaped Alliance." She fidgeted in her seat some more. Come on dad hurry up! she thought to herself. Not that James was boring, he just wasn't much of a talker. "and what's your story...James." It took her a couple seconds to remember his name properly. She had always been bad with names, it was almost a wonder she remembered hers.

"Ok, well I guess I was a little out of line for askin, seein has I just met ya..." When Alora asked him the same question James smirked, "Well, my story... That one is long, and boring, all you need to know, is I'm in the same boat..." James leaned his head back. He didn't like to admit the fact he even was born in the core, let alone had been in the alliance military. James could tell she was getting fidgety. "What's up... you seem fidgety..." James didn't normally talk to people all that much, so his conversational skills where lacking, but he still would try make a conversation.

"I hardly believe you're in the sambe boat at all. Other than I'm a fugitive, and you're a deserter." She threw the pillow to another chair. "I'm fidgeting because I can't stand doing nothing." Alora stood up and started pacing back and forth. She hated sitting, sitting and doin' nothin. It was boring, and boring for her was bad. Whenever she got bored at the academy she could just request a training session (they were so proud of her for that..bleh).

James was taken back, "How do you know that?" James was completely confused, and thought about it for a second. "What else do you know?" James didn't want to push for any information, but he needed to know what she knew about him.

When Gene entered, he just stood back while the two talked to each other. He couldn't care less as to where they came from or way they were here. All he cared about was why she kidnapped Mal. It really irked him. He was used to interogating males. He had never interogated a female suspect before, he didn't know what to do.

"I know a lot of things. And if I told them to you you'd surely die on the spot. So I won't tell you." Okay...so she really didn't know all that much just what she gleamed from the doctors, scientists, and infact it was a lot of knowledge, and some of it would make you want to kill yourself if you weren't able to harbor it in your mind. Her eyes flickered to Gene as she stopped pacing, and then back to James. She knew her mother had seen her, it was just a matter of time before their interrogation started.

James looked at her, he didn't want to believe her, but for some reason he felt that she wasn't lying, or at least as much as he could tell. "Alright, I don't think your lying, so, I might have to talk to you later about this... I don't really want anyone to know about my past..." His thoughts went off to Haven, if Mal thought he was a spy, James could end up with a chest full of lead. Bein dead left would be overall a bad thing, especially any chances of really getting to know Haven. "So, until we can talk about this a little bit more, " James paused and glanced to Gene, and then quickly back to Alora, "Privately, Could you keep it all quiet?"

This conversation was starting to bore Gene. He finally decided to comment on the conversation, "Well, as...fascinating as this little history lesson is. I could care less as to where you lot came from. Now if you'll excuse me, I smell food." He turned round to face them just as he was about to leave, "Besides, we've all done things we'd rather keep private."

Her mouth sarted to water...food. Oh dear and fluffy lord! She hadn't had food in awhile...of course there was that food in the warehouse but it was all ucky, and she would want to touch it witha ten foot pole. She shuddered at the thought. "So wait I'm stuck her in this place, and I can't go eat. Maybe I can. Let's go James. We're gonna go snatch some food...hopefully. If I can't you're bringing me a plate!" She exclaimed and linked arms with him practically dragging him out of the commong room to the kitchen.

James was a little off balance from what was happening, and when Alora grabbed his arm he just about fell over. Not wanting to trip her, he just went along and followed. "Ok, can't see why not..." he said as they left

James wandered back into the common room. He felt confused, hungry, and tired, but right now he could only deal with one of them. He walked over to the couch, and lied down. Staring at the ceiling he started to think about all thats ever happend to him, from going to military school, all the way to almost getting married to a woman he never liked, or really met for that matter. His adventures took him allover the 'verse. He didn't like some of the things he's had to do, the things he had to work with. He would always remember his first assingment, clean up after a single assassin's run. He never even saw who killed them, but he knew who ever was the assassin, would never be seen, unless it was too late. Just lieing there gave him the idea of giving up on figureing out anything now, so he just lied back, and fell into a deep sleep.

Haven came in and found James. Smiling, she sat on one of the chairs. "You missed an interesting conversation. My brother is getting married already." She hoped the guy would talk. No one could keep secrets on this ship without everyone being suspicious of him. "So, where abouts you from?"

[[OOC: Sorry bout how long its been since i posted, thought i did to this, then i got kicked out of my house (for the second time) and i was homeless this last weekend. Its all good now, My mom got me back in the house, and it shouldn't happen again... (at least not for another few months...)]]
James heard someone enter, but thought it was Vincent going to the infirmary. Then he heard someone sit down and he realized it wasn't Vincent at all, about the time he could hear Haven speak. He woke up, but didn't move, eyes still closed, but he smiled and couldn't help but let out a little laugh when he heard that Daniel was married. James sat up slowly, right as Haven asked him from where he was. James smiled for a second, then looked down. "Oh, I'm from the core... Ariel to be exact. It wasn't a hard life, my parents took good care of me..." James paused for a moment, "For the most part at least, the did send me, well, away after I turned 13..." James didn't know how to explain anything else, or what she would think of what he has said already. James kind of looked at Haven waiting to see what she thought of everything he had already said.
