River watched them still close to Vincent. She was bothered by James as well and that was not something that she was comfortable with. She leaned in closer to Vincent trying to find her safe spot with him.

Vincent continued to massage River's feet, he could tell she liked it. "I know that your naturally talented. Thats actually why I like it. When you dance...or whatever, you seem to just flow, like a river, from one move to the next, seemingly without thought or effort." It was quite a fitting comparison, what with actually being called River. "I can't help but be captivated, or inspired when I watch you move." When James spoke, although Vincent didn't actually look, in his mind he was glaring at him. He knew full well what he was about to say. His hesitation said it all. But he had River to tend to, plus its not as though he'll be able to go anywhere. "It's gettin' late. We probably should be heading to bed."

James didn't know if anyone noticed his slip up, he hoped no one did. He smiled at Haven, "Yeah, maybe..." He didn't know if he could afford a new ship, he was low on money as it was, and he didn't even know if he could afford to even fly as a passenger. James laughed, "Yeah, that might be a good idea..." James leaned forward again, he needed something to wake him up, he was really starting to get tired, but just from looking at him, it was hard to tell. James rubbed his eyes, and then fell back into the seat, and his head fell back and he just began to stare at the ceiling, before glancing back at Haven. "So..." James cleared his throat, not sure what to say next. "Where can I sleep, I mean when the time comes?" James was slightly nervous, he was still worried that Vincent or River, or even Haven knew what James was going to say, and was going to tell Mal, or something of the like.

Haven stood up. She was surprised no one had shown him a room. Gesturing she rubbed her eyes as the room went slightly blurry a moment. “C’mon. I’m just surprised no one showed you sooner.” Kissing each River and Vincent in turn on their heads, she moved to the doorway. Waiting for him to follow, she leaned against the door way in a slightly flirty manner, her back and head tilted against it and her legs out. But she didn’t even realize she was doing it. After he made to follow her, she led the way out to a guest room.

River looked at her niece and smiled. River was still a little spooked but feeling better near Vincent. She knew she shouldn't have gone to the infirmary but she did and she was suffering the consequences for it. She knew she was going to have nightmeres that night.
"Vincent can I stay with you tonight" asked River not wanting to go to her room and be alone when the nightmeres came.
She used to be a happy girl, now she was small scared frightened and crazy.

"Goodnight little one," Vincent looked on as Haven left. He couldn't believe how she was acting. He looked straight to James to give him a look as if to say 'DON'T YOU DARE...' to him. Haven was a smart girl, he knew she wouldn't do anything stupid. Upon thinking that he turned back to River. "Sure. I'm here for you." He picked her up and carried her off to his room.

James looked at Haven and only responded under his breath, "yeah, but things have been busy..." he watched Haven get up, and he slowly stood up. Watching her prop herself in the doorway James almost fell back into his seat. He glanced over at Vincent, and he completely understood and nodded even. He slowly walked out following Haven.
