'Where was Mal any way?' It wasn't often that Daniel didn't see the captain. He would have looked into it if he didn't have problems of his own at the moment. It wasn't every day that Haven asked for his time so Daniel figured that it must be important. "Don't worry mom, it won't take a sec."
Daniel looked up to his mother as she was leaving but when she left he glanced back to Haven. "I'm gonna assume that this is going to be about me and Bella." Daniel bit his lip and said "I'll accept any help you have to offer." It wasn't everyday that Daniel would accept help from his sister but right now he would accept help from anyone if it meant getting Bella to like him.

Haven was excited that she got to steal her brother-even for a few minutes. She couldn't wait to go see their new passanger. Turning side to side, she tilted her head at her brother. Peering at him through her slitted eyes, she went, "Ok who are you and what have you done with my brother? You never ask me for help-love or otherwise."
A chill went through Haven's back talking about the captain. Until he was back on Serenity, she would assume that something was wrong. Biting her lip, she looked around one last time before grabbing her brother and led him to go visit Bella.

Giving his sister the advantage was the last thing he wanted to do but this time he felt that the end result would be worth his sisters dominance over him. "If you help me with this, I owe you BIG."

Jayne looked about feeling a little left out. Wanting to do something, he decided to go out looking for Mal. Heading out the cargo bay, he let Simon kow he was going out. Stepping into the sunlight he headed into the town on Ezra.

"I guess i should put my stuff in one of the guest bunks then..." Dave muttered as everyone left the cargo bay... "...dont worry 'bout me, i grew up on one of these, il find 'em sure enough." He said, with an awkward look towards anyone left in the room. Shouldering his bag, he left the cargo bay with his head down, before muttering to himself "sure neough as this ship runs on more love than fuel..." Simon followed Dave as he left, and showed him to the guest quarters where he heard daniel and Bella talking, he showed Dave where to put his stuff and decided to check in on his son.
