Bella's room

[Arabella Hart]

Bella go tup and started to put clothes away. She just didn't know what to think abut that right now though. It was a mixed message to her. And it seemed to be going so smoothly! "Righ, well, maybe we should cool it for now." She was soft in saying that.

Sitting on the floor, it was easier to pull out her skirts and tops as they were in the bag on the floor. She'd take all her undergarments out later. "Ok, so don't mention Zoe's husband. What happened?" Bella seemed to feel like everyone was hiding something until Mal got back. She was a little confused by this.

Daniel sighed. He knew Bella was right but he was still a little disapointed in having to cool down. He spoke as equaly soft to her "Yeah, ok. Should probably wait until everyone knows before gettin' too serious. D'you fancy tellin' everyone at dinner?"

Daniel thought about how he should answer her in regards to how Wash died. Seen as it was complicated, he chose to keep it simple, "He was killed by...reavers. It was during the broadwave about Miranda." One day he will tell Bella the full details about it, but, right now, he didn't want to give away too many details about their 'business'.

Bella refolded everything and put them away in the drawers. Skirts in the middle, shirts in the top. Nodding, she agreed it was best. "Yeah, we should...." She wanted to be cautious as she was working Daniel into her plan.

Finishign up, she stood back up and sat on the edge of the bed now. Biting her lip, she wondered if she would know any of the secrets if the Serenity anytime soon. "I;m guessign Mal has to tell me the secrets here huh?"

"Yeah, that would be best. Haven and I, we've gotten in trouble for tellin' new people more than what Mal wanted them to know. If your gonna stay here for as long as you plan to he might tell you straight away." She was bound to figure out what they did eventually, but Daniel knew Mal wouldn't be happy if he started telling her too much. He heard is dad on the comm and he knew it was time to leave. And if Haven had already told him what had happened in on the bridge, then he had to do what he was told, no questions. "I should be going. I'll see you later." Daniel went over to her and gave her a peck on the cheek before leaving.

Bella decided it probably was best to wait. Nodding, she smiled. "Ok." Listening over the comm, she figured it was time for him to leave. Letting him kiss her, she watched him go. Getting up, she closed the door softly.

Pulling out her journal, she began to write about the day. It had been exhausting to her. Plus her thoughts were racing. Tuckign oen leg udner her, she began to write. And write until all her thoughts were out. Once she was done, she put that away her journal under the matress and just laid down.

Closing her eyes, she wondered what Betty would say to all this.

JAYNE

Jayne knocked and hearing nothing, entered Bella's room. She seemed to be asleep. Lookign in, he went. "Um, yeah, Mal wants you moved to a more perminate room." He waited to see if she would wake up. She didn't. Going over he shook her gently.

Bella didn't know she fell asleep. SHe jsut ahd drifted off. Being shaken, she saw Jayen and screamed. No matter what River said, the guy would scare her.

Her shakes returned and she puleld away. "What ar eyou doing here?"

JAYNE

Jayne jumped back. The scream frightened him. "Jeez, I was telling you to repack. Your moving rooms to someplace permiante. Looks like your staying." Jayne hastened out and tripped. Looking back, he went out and closed the door. This girl needed to chill

Bella nodded, not moving. "Fine." She watched him leave. She had a problem with his dememnor. The entire air about him.

Moving off, she pulled all her clothes out of the drawers. They were already folded, so she just folded them in half again to put in her bag. That is when it hit her. "The captains here." She shook now, but not because of Jayne, but because of what he would say to her.

Grabbing her small bag, she threw her things from the bottom drawer into it. Then she grabbed her journal. Bella was a fast packer. She had to learn to be. Smoothing out the bed, she went down to the cargo bay.
