Chani was fixing the third view screen from the top right. It was spazzing out on her and she wanted it to be perfect. She moved down the ladder she had put up. It was specially made so that it didn't damage any of the sensitive equipment around her. She brought the ladder down with a push of the button and then hung it by her couch in the room. She moved over to her desk and booted the view screen back up. All better now. She smiled and leaned back in her chair before moving over to the couch. She was tired. She's been working on everything updating in and analyzing things since two pm the day before and it was around 4pm on her little moon now. Her daddy had built it to keep her safe and then hired a lady all in pink to be a body guard. She didn't mind it all. He dad came up every once in awhile and she had Gabe with her. However she was bored now and tired.
She snuggled up on her couch with her bright green blanket and white teddy bear. She'd not slept in some a good twenty six hours and she needed it. She closed her eyes and was out like a light moments later. She was one to sleep like a log when she actually got into REM sleep. It didn't mean that she'd remember her dreams though. She opened her eyes moments after falling asleep though. She'd been asleep for about ten minutes when an alarm sounded. It was someone calling and of course trying to patch for a video view. She got up and headed over to the view screen and answered the communication. "Kynes at your service." She smiled brightly showing no signs of being dead tired.
"I have a message for Gabriel Pierce. A job of sorts." "He's working at the moment might I take the message down for him." The man on the other side nodded. "I'm sending you a link of design ideas for a ship. Commissioning him to make it." Chani moved to another view screen and watched the specs come in. She let them print out from the other ships computer. The man had to be in a place that had high tech computers for it to work so effortlessly. Probably alliance no doubt. And being secretive. "Alright I'll have him call you back for all the details. and to go over everything with you." "Thank you. Last page sent has the way to contact me." With that the view screen went black.
She sighed and turned everything off leaving the papers were they were. Gabe has is own business line in a sense but everything connected through to her main frame. Which was why she got the call in the first place. She yawned and headed back to the couch. Gabe was probably knee deep in ship parts which would explain for why he had not answered his line. She snuggled up on the couch again and was out shortly afterwards.

================================================= with my freeze ray i will find the time to say the words to tell you how, how you make, make me feel, what's the phrase like a fool, kind of sick, special needs, anyways ================================================= Ever since she began protecting Chani and her future husband, Winnie's life had gotten very interesting. For one, Chani had happily upgraded Andromeda so it could talk, though Winnie honestly didn't know what she was asking for when this started. Andromeda's programing clearly had grown into its own little personality. It made her life off the moon very interesting, but also made it very irritating at the same time. Almost felt like Winnie was married to Andromeda at times since she would always nag Winnie whenever she was away for too long. Never-the-less, Winnie was happy about the upgrade since Andromeda was now keeping Winnie company and actually talking back whenever Winnie spoke to Andy. But, Winnie was returning to the moon where Chani and Gabe both were residing. Those two may call that moon home, but for Winnie, Andy was the only home she needed or even wanted. Landing within the dock Andy had come to call her home, Winnie shut everything down and let Andy fall asleep for a while. Hopping down the cargo bay door, Winnie shouted out, "Parts are here." She rarely helped out with unloading parts since most of the ones she brought in were rather small, but they were what Gabe needed sometimes. Meanwhile, Winnie was actually carrying this months food and dragging it towards where it belonged. The food was all Winnie honestly carried around since it was often a heavy box and Winnie seemed to be the strongest person here, so that elected her to carry it.
After dropping off the food, Winnie headed towards the main computer area where she knew Chani would most likely be. Upon entering the room, Winnie instantly noticed Chani sleeping on the couch and could only chuckle at the site of her cuddled up with the blanket. It was so cute watching Chani sleep, and Winnie found herself staring at the sleeping beauty for a short while. Watching Chani may have been an interesting activity, but Winnie found herself wanting to converse, so she spoke, "Aw, aren't you just the cutest little thing ever," she stated the rhetorical question loud enough to stir the beauty from her sleep. Winnie was often very good at speaking at just the right volume to wake Chani, but never really startle her to the land of the living. No, she didn't enjoy being that loud since it often led to bad things. And, when Chani woke from her slumber, she would be greeted by the form of Winnie who was wearing a plaid skirt that danced above her knees, white stockings that covered her entire legs, little black shoes that covered her feet, a long sleeved, white, button up shirt with a plaid vest upon her torso while a red and orange stripped tie rested loose around her neck. In fact, her shirt had the top three buttons undone. As for Winnie's hair, it was short and a brilliant pink hue, something that some people claimed was hard to get use to and others claimed it made Winnie look like some anime freak. 'Course, Winnie never cared what others thought while her rosy cheeks puffed out slightly from her white features and blue eyes stared at Chani before her pink lips moved to speak once again, "Does someone need a proper bedroom to sleep in?"

Sifting through a pile of parts, Gabriel Pierce sighed heavily. “Where is it?” he asked the air impatiently, picking up various parts and practically throwing them to the side when they didn’t match the schematic he held in his left hand. “You’d think with all this technology, we’d have some sort of sorting system!” he yelled, frustrated at his own disorganization. Nearly tripping over a crate of various small parts, he bit back a string of profanities before his eyes lit up. Finally, he found the piece he was looking for. Tossing it in the air happily as he moved back to the ship he was currently repairing, he began to wonder what they were going to eat for dinner. He had skipped lunch to work on this blasted ship, and he was sure that Chani wasn’t too happy about that.
After successfully installing the shiny new, albeit used, part, he wiped the sweat off his forehead with the back of his hand, spreading grease in a streak just above his eyes. Proud of the work he had done so far, he heard the familiar sound of Andromeda landing. That’ll be Winnie,” he thought to himself before wiping down the machine a bit and popping the hatch closed. By the time he got to the ship, Winnie had already disappeared, leaving him to get his cargo solo. It wasn’t a big surprise though. With how much he had been working the girl recently, he was just happy to have his parts arrive in one piece, more or less.
Loading up a cart with the crates, Gabe once again chided himself mentally for not working out more. All this free time and he couldn’t manage to fit in so much as twenty pushups. It didn’t really matter that he wasn’t very buff though. In fact, he often took advantage of his small frame to crawl into the hard to get to spots on the ships. It was an even trade, in his mind. But as he stood staring at the mess he had managed to make all day, he hung his head in shame and abandoned the cart just outside of the pile. He just plain didn’t have the energy to face the jungle of metal.
Gabe grabbed a clean rag off his work bench as he began walking towards the main building. His workshop was set off a little way from where they lived, so as not to disturb Chichi’s work with the sound of his drills and constant chatter with himself. Sometimes he wondered if he should ask Chichi to make him a computer to talk back to him while he worked. Maybe it would be able to help keep him more organized. By the time he got to the brain of the place, Winnie was already there. “It’s not a proper bedroom she needs,” he said with a bit of a laugh, making sure to walk around Winnie since he probably smelled like a bum and was covered in grease.
Circling around the couch, he leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to Chichi’s forehead before catching a glimpse of the papers that she had just printed out. Curious, he began to finger through them, grateful that they were for him. If they had been hers, she would have surely chastised him for leaving fingerprints all over them. “What’s this, Chichi? Commission? I need to get the comm system fixed in the shop. I didn’t even hear a call.”

Chani was sleeping like the dead at the moment. It wasn't like she's sleep all day though. If she wasn't woken up in an hour or two she's be less likely to actually go to sleep tonight which would be a very annoying things to say the least. Though if she's been up for fourty eight hours she's sleep a whole day or at least until her body said that it was okay for her to be up anyways. She moved a little snuggling into the couch more her arm wrapping around her teddy bear more while the other one wrapped the blankets around them. Thankfully at the moment her dreams were filled with small animals and nice things. Well nice things to her anyways. She was younger and her dad was lifting her up in the air and spinning her around like that had no care in the world. She rather liked having happy dreams or even dreams of memories long since forgotten to her conscious mind.
A voice disturbed her dream though. Someone from the outside world but a voice that she knew. She slowed moved away from her dream and let the darkness take her again before slowly coming out of dream land and opening her eyes. The person speaking to her was not using a voice that was loud or anything like that but it had sent a shock through Chani's system as she was not expect this particular person to be home so soon. She was apparently not opening her eyes fast enough as the other said something else to her about a bed she was sure. Chani didn't much care for beds or sheets for that matter. If they were white forget about it. There was a long and scary story behind those though. She made to stretch only just a little bit and sort of give the five more minutes thing to the person talking. That was until she felt a kiss on her forehead and heard the voice that she was so used to hearing waking her up.
Her eyes slowly opened. After first all she saw was pink. Then her eyes focused a little more. "HI Winnie." She said in a groggy voice as she sat up and stretched herself out laying her teddy bear back in its place on the couch and not even thinking about making the blanket look neat. She'd do that later. She looked over at her future husband as he went looking at the papers that she'd printed out. She hadn't been asleep long she was sure of that. However it seemed to be long enough. Gabe was asking her questions and it took her a minute to process what he was saying to here. She shook her head. "Sorry give me a second and I'll explain." She stretched one more time and stood up. "So this guy called and was being all secretive about it. Something tells me its alliance. He asked specifially for you. So apparently your repair jobs are getting your name out there." She smiled at him and pecked him on the check and sort of twirled around him back towards the couch.
She thought for a moment. "I'll go look at the com down there after we eat. I'm hungry." She walked out of the room and towards the kitchen which would have been where Winnie would have put the food. "What does everyone want." She laughed, she was a tech wizard yes but she was good at cooking too. She's been doing it since she was old enough to reach the stove and read.
