Kohaku has just finished making sure that Dolly was in her room reading like she usually was. They really didn't have much to do on this ship in the first place. He felt a little out of place here actually. He wouldn't let anyone know that though. He was with Dolly and that was all her needed. She knew how to get him should she need him and well as trained as he was he would make sure no harm came to her even when he wasn't directly in her presence. That's how it had been for awhile now. He'd done everything to the T at the academy just so that he could be here with her now. It would be odd to most to say that he loved Dolly but he did. Loved her with every bit of himself. Course that might be the only humanity left in him after all his training in the academy. There were only a few graduates out and about and he was one of them. He was proud.
He walked his way to the training room and noticed some of the soldiers doing hand to hand combat. No one would take harsh words from a teen but he was about to give them. "That's not how you do it." He scolded in a calm tone. The elder soldiers looked at him. Giving him a type of death glare. One advanced on him and didn't get to far before he was face first on the ground with Kohaku on his back. "Like I said not the right way." He got off as the others came at him. It took him a total of one minute to have then all on the floor face down. "Be glad that you'll be able to move in a minute or two. When doing that technique wrong worse could happen when people know it better." He walked off finding his way to the pool. He left the soldiers were they were for the moment.
He went into the locker room and changed into swim trunks before walking back out and jumping into the pool. He still had his eyes on the soldiers that were standing after his little mishap with them. He was sure to be yelled at later but he didn't care.

Dolly paced back and forth alongside the pool. She seemed like an ordinary child with the confusion on her face. She had watched from the sidelines as her handler had taken out those soldiers and disappeared into the locker rooms to change. She herself had disappeared to change as well into a one piece bathing suit. It made her look cuter and younger, especially with the water wings on her arms.
With all the training and programming in her... head, it was interesting enough to know she couldn't swim. She was the first in, as the Alliance hoped, a long line of test tube fighters. With all the other information, they were afraid to do too much considering she was a prototype. Hence why she was pacing wearing floaties on the edge of the pool, with an expression of deep confusion.
"Kohaku..." She mumbled and stood at the edge of the pool where she had calculated where he would pop up from underwater. She shifted nervously, dark hair flowing around her face as she stared at her feet. "How do you... do that..." She had calculated it in her head over and over again and it seemed fairly simple and yet... she couldn't get over her nervousness and actually... do it.

Kohaku had done a lap or two when he realized that Dolly was pacing back and forth alongside the edge of the pool watching him with all the confusion he was sure she could muster on his face. She looked down right adroable in her swimming attire. It was one of the things that Dolly had not learned in all the extensive training that they'd been given. Actually Kohaku took to water like a fish. He'd always been good at swimming but apparently there was no need to Dolly to be. A smile crossed his lips and he tredded water for a second looking at her with loving eyes but making sure the soliders were staying right where they had been before he'd well hurt them enough for them to realize they needed to step up their performance so that he wouldn't be able to do such things again.
Kohaku heard his name and swam over surfacing right where she ha calculated he would. She was asking him how he did it. He smiled and found the steps into the pool and walked out to take her hand. "Why don't we start with this. All you have to do is stick your foot in on the first step. Get used to the water." He walked down onto the edge of the first step holding out his hand so that she could do the same. It was almost like a father showing his daughter how to do something only that wasn't how one should veiw this pair as they had no relation of the sort in the first place. They were friends and so much more in Kohaku's mind. He's keep her safe and he knew she trusted him.

Dolly wiggled slightly in her spot, shifting nervously at the edge of the pool, glancing down at the clear water, wondering what was so special about swimming. Why was it so fun? Especially when risk of death was high enough. She tilted her head to the side slightly and glanced at him curiously. He seemed to think it was important that she learned how to swim. Then again it was a weakness and she needed to eradicate any possible weakness so not to be killed in action. Her mission was for the Alliance and their agenda, whatever that may be. She didn't really care to dive into details... about anything really.
She held his hand tight, squeezing slightly as she followed him slowly down into the water where it was a bit cold. She squeaked and shivered as she slowly adjusted to the temperature, slowly releasing her iron grip on his hand. Okay, perhaps it wasn't so bad. She smiled softly and slowly let go of his hand, able to reach the bottom while in the shallow end. She moved her hand around, watching the water ripple and wave.
Her mind was calculating, making sense of the water and what she was going to be attempting to do. She tilted her head to the side, glancing around at the others in the room. It was habit for her to keep an eye on everyone. Her training more like it. She had to know everything that was going on all the time. She smiled and glanced at Kohaku, acting like her brain wasn't figuring out a billion different things at once like it was.
"You'll show me how to swim as good as you?" Knowing her though, it probably wouldn't take her long to pick it up and not much longer after that to perfect it.
