Do you dream that the world will know your name?
So tell me your name

Birthday;; August 1st
Sexuality;; Heterosexual
Occupation;; Mercenary, gambler, anything that pays right (she’s hired mainly as a mercenary)
Allegiance;; Browncoat

I wanna sunburn, just to know that I'm alive
To know I'm alive

Weight;; Light enough. She gets self conscious talking about it
Eye Color;; Brown
Hair Color;; Dark brown
Skin Tone;; Light olive
Overall Other Appearance;; Emilija tends to wear cheap clothes that can be replaced, whether it’s shirts or tank tops or the like. She tries not to be picky; if a man’s shirt fits her, then she might as well wear it! But, like all women, she can be a bit self conscious. While looking feminine is not always on her mind, she does prefer to have clothes that can accentuate her figure and at least make it apparent she’s a woman. She leans towards earthy colours (sometimes outright black) and avoids clothes with patterns, unless she’s visiting her mother. More often than not, you will see her wearing braces, just because she likes them.
When it comes to her body, there is nothing out of the ordinary for someone that has came from war: scars, though barely visible now, whip lashes, etc. She has a story for every scar she has though, even if you can’t see them. She probably wouldn’t show you then either; she doesn’t enjoy exposing much of her skin. Emi can be surprisingly self conscious(even if she doesn’t admit it), even if she is confident in every other aspect of herself.

Do you care about all the little things
Or anything at all?
Or anything at all?
Dislikes;; Having her hair down, blood (phobia), her brother, using daggers, staying on the ground for too long, puppies and kittens (sounds evil, but she just finds them annoying to look after), the Alliance to an extent, reading, talking about her body, lending money, jobs that require intricate planning, getting caught cheating in poker
Talents/Special Abilities;; Fire-arms, riding horses, alert to her surroundings
Overall personality;; Emi’s not one to reveal herself to people right away. Introverted, in a sense, Emilija has a caution around most - if not all - people she meets, and would usually like to keep a wall between her and them unless she finds a good reason to break it down. She doesn’t do it to protect herself from hurt or heart break, but she just feels more comfortable without having people to rely on her. Perhaps she’s afraid of letting them down or something to that effect - she doesn’t enjoy dwelling on it too much, fearing she will expose aspects of herself she doesn’t wish to (i.e weaknesses).
Something that allows Emilija to keep her distance is her outward actions to people. She can be rather aggressive and threatening, though not to an extreme, because it is instinct. Emilija runs firmly in instinct, not really thinking about what she says unless it’s too late. But she has an aggressive, pessimistic way of approaching things, and often puts her thoughts into words, too. She’s not trying to put everyone into a downer, she just likes her opinion to be known. While this can lead to trouble, she likes to know people know what she wants and thinks: but still trying to keep them far from friends. Most people, anyway.
But Emilija does treat her friends right: she is loyal to them to the end. She learnt what loyalty meant in the Unification War, and has kept that near her heart since. While she thinks for herself, she can put herself in danger for others whenever she likes. She has almost no sense of fear (nervousness, maybe) which allows her to fight for her friends to the death. But that has rarely ever needed to happen, and is probably one of the reasons why she tries to keep her distance. Saving her own skin’s a good enough reason for her to be alone.
Although physically alone, Emi has a strong attachment to Christianity. She keeps a cross around her neck at all times, a gift from her father. While she kills for money and has been in many battles, Emi always regrets it afterwards and asks for forgiveness. But she won’t quit her job; there’s no reason to stop something you’re good at. She is a firm believer that God accepts everyone, anyway, and so tries not to let it worry her. Even still, you can catch Emilija sometimes praying (not quite so obvious, she will just hang her head and close her eyes) now and again if she feels the need.
Other;; No where else to put this: the moon her family live on (mentioned in the history) I made up, because as far as I know we’ve not heard the names of the other three moons of Athens.

But there was no denying it: Emi was Zaire’s favourite. She would be with her father as often as she could, from dawn to dusk. He taught Emilija many things: how to break a horse, how to shoot a gun, how to protect herself. Lainey and Camryn had no qualms with this; they found that sort of thing tedious, and preferred to hang around with friends and go annoy people. They were definitely the closest of the siblings, despite Emi’s best efforts to talk to them.
As they grew older, Emi realised a war was upon them: the war for Unification. Emilija was one of many to turn into a Browncoat, but was afraid it would cause a rift between herself and her father, a renown Alliance man. But he was proud that she had a mind of her own, and was braver than her sister or brother who refused to acknowledge the war. Now that she had her father’s blessing, and the last gift she would ever receive from him (her cross), she left home, not knowing that when she would return, it would never be the happy place that she remembers.
But the War was tough. It was mostly what made Emilija that she is today; and she doesn’t regret it. She fought with many people, and remembers many people. None she ever learned the names of, but their faces have never left her mind. Not that she will ever say it, but during battle she hoped that each one would be looking down on her and her platoon as guardian angels. While she never led a platoon herself, she was part of one and got very close to commandeering it. But her commander was tough, and she followed everything he said to the letter. She followed him through most battles, often meeting up with several men and women she had spotted before in previous conflicts.
But then the Battle of Sturges came. It left a big mark on her (physically and mentally), and it was the one that shook her the most. Her platoon were pinned down, forced to back into a destroyed town. There were more Alliance than Browncoats that day, and while back up was on their way, it wasn’t enough. Most of her comrades died, leaving Emilija and her commander alone to fend for themselves. She was forced to take ammo and guns from her friends and dead enemy Purple-Bellies like there was no tomorrow - which would have been true, had she not fought hard enough. Only a few Alliance were left, and something she couldn’t imagine happened: her commander fell. He refused to get up, insisting he would have been dead weight for Emilija. He wanted her to get revenge, and then get the hell out of there. It was his last order, and as per usual, she followed it to the letter.
Emilija came out of that war covered almost head to toe in blood, and it was that scenario that her phobia of blood developed from. She tried not to let it get to her, but she was pulled from the war by a higher up because of shell shock. Returned home, Emi got there in time to be exposed to even more dread: her father was dying from an illness her family couldn’t afford to cure. So while she tried to care for her father - Lainey having left the house, and Camryn in jail for reasons Emi refused to hear - Emi wondered where it had all gone wrong. While most would wonder why God was not there to help her, Emi’s beliefs grew stronger. She sat with her father at his death bed, and then comforted herself by riding out into the desert with her horse for hours on end. Not good for the horse, sure, but she didn’t know what to do.
Before the war ended, Emilija made sure her mother was fine on her own before heading back into the fight. Despite losing, she knew she earned a lot from the War. Instead of going back home, she went on to become a Mercenary, and eventually expanded her work to gambling, smuggling and stealing. She did any job she wanted and was her own boss. Every now and then, she went back to her mother to make sure she was doing alright. Eventually, as her mother got frailer, Lainey moved back in.
Emilija knew it was inevitable: Yamina had to die at some point. And she did, of mere old age. Emi was present at her funeral, as she was at her father’s, spoke a few words and stayed around after to help Lainey. Camryn was no where in sight; but throughout the years she heard from her youngest sibling for money and help. She refused most of the time, getting herself only into more trouble when she did.
Nowadays, Emilija wanders. She does what work she can, and ignores the fact she gets older every year.
