Personal Evaluation

Donovan is a loyal Alliance doctor. He seems very put off with talking to anyone or anything. He worked during the war which may have shut off his emotions a bit. Despite being on the side of the Alliance, he would help wounded or sick enemies we had taken prisoner. He appeared to not show sympathy for them but would yell at a superior about they are human beings too. Reintegrating into society was rough on him. Donovan went through a rough patch and got arrested with drunken dis-orderlies. They put a few red flags on his file but after he sobered up, he was able to function. Even married and found a job as a surgeon at an Osirius hospital.

While he is easy to chat with and very friendly, hospital staff put him as a little odd since his wife’s death. He’ll sometimes murmur to himself and tune out the rest of the world. But they did say it hasn’t really effected his work-he stays focused while in surgery or going over a patient’s charts. At times his allegiance seems to sway, causing a bit of trouble with people he associates with. Especially since he left the hospital to join an old space station. When asked about it, Donovan has said he wants to get to the roots of helping the less fortunate no matter which side they go with. But he says he still is true to the Alliance.

Background

Donovan comes from a privlaged family. He grew up without wanting though some years money got tight. his father owns a hotel franchise which has become large on the Core and Border planets. There isn’t much on the record from Donovan’s young life aside from the family appearing on society pages. He was a picture perfect student and son. When he entered medical school his father boasted about it to anyone around. Near the end of medical school he got drafted to work in the war as a medic. He wasn’t one for combat but he patched up soldiers from both sides. Still, the images of bloody, blown off bits of their limbs. This sent Donovan into a drunken haze before he finally got help with the help of his father after a few arrests. Once clean, he went back to school and finished his last year and a half. After that he moved to a hospital on Osirius where he met his wife. She was a patient and they married six months later. The two never had kids as she died five years later from a childhood cancer that kept reoccurring. After that he focused solely at work. It was a surprise when in august of 2523 he stopped working at the hospital and moved Dardania to work as their head medic. As some fugitives stop by there, tabs should be kept on Mister LaBeouf.
