Ship Name: P/V TwoStep Ship Description: TwoStep is a retrofitted blockade runner left over from the Unification War. It is not quite a transport, not having the cargo space necessary to carry large amounts. Being smaller, it has generally been used as a courier vessel by it's owner, Mikael Dorony, but there have been times when it has carried cargo, the extra items stowed in the spare space taken up by the passenger cabins, which are rarely, if ever, used. The ship is modestly comfortable, largely due to the retrofitting it has received at its owner's hands. On the outside, due to its original nature, it is a sleek, smallish vessel, with an engine that seems somewhat overpowered for its hull. Location: TwoStep travels the 'verse in an erratic fashion, as no two packages ever seem to go to the same place. As such, it is quite possible to see it anywhere, from Core, to Border, to the Rim. Crew: Mikael Dorony. Captain/Owner/Everything else. Passengers: None At the Moment.

L I K E. P R A Y E R S. I N. M Y. P O C K E T S. Esmerelda felt weird in waking up this morning. She had never been on a ship, knowing that it would serve as her home for a little bit of time. As she laid in the bed in one of the passenger rooms she stared at the wedding set on her hand. She should probably take it off but it didn’t feel right just yet. Just because he had died didn’t mean the feelings weren’t still there. Now that she was someplace safe, she could think about getting to the little nest egg he had left her. Then she could settle into a new life and maybe move on from there. Right now there was no rush for Esmerelda. She was with an old friend who was helping with things as he wasn’t pressing too hard into what had happened. It helped she had told him someday she’d let him in on the whole story just right now wasn’t that time. How do you even explain to someone helping your spouse die?
After deciding she had spent enough time in hiding, Esmerelda pushed herself out of the bed she sat there looking at the sparse room. She had all she needed to be comfortable. Aside from a couple small things from her family and her husband she had brought with her, there was nothing else she had besides clothing. Even the pictures she had were very sparse so when she had come onto the TwoStep it had been easy to settle in. The few momentos she had were set on a little table that was in there and still left some room left on the smooth surface. Everything else was sort of strewn about as she wasn’t sure if she wanted to tuck them in the drawers under the bed or leave them in the bags.
Sifting through a pile of clothes, she found a solid color sweater and some jeans. After quickly washing herself up, she pulled her wet hair back into a braid down her back. Clothes were pulled on with her boots afterwards before she moved out of the disaster of a room. The ship wasn’t very large so she was able to find where Mikael was easily. As she stood there a moment she felt very grateful that he had offered a safe place to go. Somehow she’d pay him back, perhaps when she got to her money. With a clearing of her throat, she made herself known. ”Um did you want something to eat? I don’t mind making up something quickly.” If she couldn’t be of any use in actually flying or taking care of the ship then Esmerelda would find other ways to repay his good nature.
