Hello, Gabriel Pierce.
» Is there anything you would rather be called?
"Gabe is the nickname of choice. If you call me Gabby, even just for kicks, I might have to strip your boat for parts."
» Great, now that we've got that covered. How old are you?
"19"
» I see, and you're in where do your allegiance lie?
"My allegiance lies with the highest bidder. See, I don't care about the Alliance or the Browncoats. War is gunna be had whether I take a side or not, so why not stay neutral and benefit from both? Besides, all I really care about are ships and my future wife. Ships ain't got an allegiance, and neither does Chichi."
» With that tidbit aside, tell me is what floats your boat *wink* if you know what I mean?
"Depends on the boat really. Oh. You didn't mean my ships, did ya? Well, I get a hard on for a well built machine. There are a lot of crappy boats out there, but you'll never see a piece of junk with my name on it. There is something about the curve of a hull that just gets me going, ya know?"
» You know, has anyone ever told you that you look exactly like...?
"David Gallagher"
» Thanks! Slipped my mind. Now, do you know the super secret code word?
"Bluesun"

Let's talk about your personality.
» What are a few of your favorite things?
"I like ships, engines, wings, turbines, compression coils, hatches, or anything else you can find on a boat. It's pretty much my passion. I also like ice planets, even though I still have trouble eating them. I'm big on salvaging. Don't tell Chichi, but I got a net in the works. See, those old fashion nets tend to fry the electrical systems in a boat, which is more hassle than it's worth. Then there are the newer nets that'll save your system but leave ya with people on board. I got a fix for that too, but I'm not all that willing to share that info with you. Which reminds me, what's it to ya? I have a soft spot for kids, too. One day I'm going to be an amazing dad. You'll see."
»That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?
"People who can't take care of their ships need to fall into reaver territory. Nothing like seeing a good boat gone bad to boil the blood. I'm also not a big fan of pretentious alliance douchebags, same goes for the browncoats, actually. I don't give a shit about your war, but ya best respect my girl and me. Other than that though, I don't have much beef. I think disliking something is wasting time not understanding it."
» Hm, what is your greatest fear?
"That Chichi is going to end up getting herself in deep water. That girl has a knack for pissing the wrong people off, which is why I'll always have her back. Sometimes I have these dreams that she is broadcasting some wave like the Miranda bit and then Kaboom. She ends up with a fate worse than Mr. Universe, if ya get my drift. I don't know what I'd do if she ever got hurt. I'm not really one to take up arms and shoot someone in the face, but I'll do what it takes to keep her safe."
» Yeah, that is scary. Do you have any dreams for the future?
"Marry Chichi, have four or five kids, and retire as a wealthy man with thousands of my ships sailing the sky. It'll be a long journey, but I'm willing to put to in the work to make it happen. Especially the work required for the kids. Right now, I'm still working on my protype for my first ship. I've got hundreds of plans, but no way to execute them just yet. Living on this moon makes it hard to get the materials I need, and my first priority will always be keeping Chi safe."
» Wow, I hope you succeed. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
"I guess ya could say I'm kind hearted. I'll do what it takes to achieve my goals, but I try not to murder and maim everyone who gets in my way. I love playing with kids whenever I get the chance to visit another planet with Chichi. It breaks my heart to see the poverty and waste that most people are forced to live in. A little bit can go a long way in the smaller communities on the rim, and I like to help whenever possible. It's difficult to help monetarily in these times, but there are other ways to help out a small village.
I'm a bit crazy when it comes to designing ships. I try to think of all of the angles of living in space, on a ship, surrounded by a limited number of people for sometimes months on end. Ships these days are all chalked full of useless features, bulk, and so called luxuries. When I design a ship, I pay attention to functionality, breathability, and strength. "

So far so good. Now for history.
» So tell me, where are you from? What did you think of it?
"I was born in Dyton Colony, but ya probably couldn't tell by listening to me. I always felt that the heavy accent everyone carried only served to make them look stupid. I dropped it before I was twelve. That was about the time I first caught wind of Chani and her father. See, I led a pretty simple life. Most of the people there are criminals, killing and stealing. 'Course, they didn't know a better way. What was it? 'If you suffer your people to be ill-educated, and their manners corrupted from infancy, and then punish them for those crimes to which their first education disposed them, what else is to be concluded, sire, but that you first make thieves and then punish them?' It's from someone world that was movie. Mostly long forgotten, but it still rings true. Those people didn't know any other way to live, and I can't blame them for doing what they could to protect the ones they love."
» Do you have any other family? Parents? Siblings? Extended? What do you think about them?
"I never had any siblings, as my mother died giving birth to me. I suppose that I might have some half siblings somewhere, but I wouldn't know. My father more or less sold me to Chani's father when I was thirteen. It's not like I minded. My father wasn't very family oriented. He tended to stay out all night drinking and only come home to pass out. He never got me even a resemblance of an education. I spent most of my time with the local mechanic, my uncle. He taught me the ins and outs of working with a ship. He and I designed a ship together. I never got to see it made, though. Pretty sure it's only alive on paper to this day. We never really had the money to go making ships, and salvaged parts will only get ya so far. Living with Chani and her father was real nice. They never seemed to be hurting for money, and Mr. Kynes saw to it that I had at least a basic education."
» What is your worst memory/memories?
"My worst memory happened back when I was ten. My father was always trying to find ways to scam someone out of money, and when he couldn't do that, he used me instead. Jobs were scarce, and no one wanted to hire my drunk father for anything if they could help it. We had a pretty dry period for about a year, living off the scraps we could find in dumpsters or what my uncle would give me for helping at his shop. My father got so desperate that he leant me out to his friends. I don't like to think about the vile stuff I had to do, but sometimes I still have nightmares."
» What is your best memory/memories?
"The first day I spent with the Kynes was the best day of my life, although every day since has tried to rival it. Coming from such a poverty striken lifestyle, living with the Kynes was like a dream come true. I remember the first time I set foot in their home. It felt right, like I belonged there all along. When I met Chichi, I fell in love instantly. I think she was hesitant at first, but I guess I grew on her. I would have never dreamed that I would have a woman like her at my side. She is the most brilliant person I have ever met. Anyway, when I first got 'sold' to Mr. Kynes, I thought I was going to end up as a servant boy, ranch hand, or something else that involved seriously heavy labor, but it turned out to be completely different. I had a large room with a full sized bed all to myself, and it even had a window! I'd never had a window in my room before. He treated me like I was his own son, even calls me son. I'm the luckiest man alive."
» Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
"Mr. Kynes set up a nice little moon for us off Shadow. It's fortified pretty heavily, but Chani is worth it. He wanted to keep her safe from the Alliance after learning about Miranda and the secret experiments that were going on. I can't blame her. I've never even heard of another person who could do half the things she can do. The moon can get pretty lonely being just the two of us, but Mr. Kynes hired us some muscle, and she's loads of fun. We occasionally get to travel outside of the area, which is a lot of fun. I really love visiting the Skyplex. I've carved out my own piece of this moon for myself too. I have a workshop that I use to build small models of the ships I have designed. I haven't actually gotten a working ship made yet, seeing as I refuse to ask Mr. Kynes for any type of help. I want to do this for myself and Chani. I want to prove that I am capable of taking care of his daughter.
I'm currently working on a cruise liner. The design is focused more heavily on luxury, which is a bit out of my league, but I hope to market it to the Alliance buyers and get the kind of funding that could jump start my business. As it stands right now, I don't stand a chance at getting any funding. I also know that it would be a bit risky to do any business off this moon, so I'm scouting for a planet to use. I'm thinking I might use Whitefall. Those people have always been so kind to me, and I would do my best to help them out with whatever money I can spare. I have a feeling that life is just beginning for me, and I'm going to make the best of it while I can."
