Personal Evaluation
Sam Battle is a man that knows what he wants, but his unstable attitude may bring about his own downfall. However, even with his faults, he is loyal to the Alliance and our cause, and he will follow our orders without question believing they are to make the lives of humanity better. Yet, his unorthodox style shows he is not like our other operatives. He seems to hold onto this name, Sam Battle, like it anchors him to humanity. We have also seen him display a large amount of humor whenever being interrogated, especially when pain is brought into the picture. Luckily, this humor seems to be his way of not breaking under any pressure, so we have seen him turn to it often in order to break up tension or simply start a conversation. Of course, when it matters, Sam can be ruthless and doesn't appear to have a conscience in anything we make him do. In fact, we have seen him mercilessly kill a young girl in the name of the Parliament. Though he may not be what we normally look for, Sam Battle is someone we should consider as an Operative since he holds all the qualities, even if flawed, we need in this up coming war. He may even be able to pass himself off with the enemies and gain intelligence on their plans.
The man we know seems to have a liking to guns, especially pistols, and always seems to be ready for some intimate company. His lust may be of slight concern, but he doesn't appear to use money in order to gain this company. Beyond that, he also shows an interest in strategy games, like chess, and also appears to collect peculiar figurines. On the opposite hand, Sam seems to be displeased with anyone who questions the Alliance's cause. However, he truly doesn't like anyone who sides with the brown coats and also shows an extreme prejudice towards the black society of the 'verse. On top of that, he also hates dogs.
Background
Reports claim he was born on one of the border planets and his parents were brown coats till the end. However, he swiftly ran from home and we got our hands upon him. With a little rehabilitation, we made him an Alliance agent and soon gave him all the training required. Since we had him when he was only sixteen, he seems to be very loyal to the Alliance and believes in our cause. Ever since then, he has done several missions and succeeded at them where others had failed. Only recently has he gotten the attention of the Parliament after he assisted in the battle with our last Parliament Operative. In that reaver attack, he showed bravery and managed to get himself and his men, along with several other ships, out to safety. Showing leadership, he was quickly recommended by the officer in charge to the Parliament. After a quick deliberation, the Parliament agreed and made Sam an official Operative. So, he underwent a facial reconstruction and gained a new name in order to leave his old life behind. Then he started his operative job, and his current assignment is classified, but he is to be stationed on the Allygiance in order to conduct his work.
