So before the site shut down there was a discussion about a new ship. With reopening, I want to make it happen. A big thing is Haven won’t stay on Serenity for very long. She will go as the medic on this new ship. That will be a big thing. My thought is there will be some sort of a large job where the two ships work together & split the bounty. After that, she’s going to go with the other ship. Now my thing is Firefly is about the only SiFi fandom I’ve gotten into(tried with other but my XBox fails....long story....). I don’t know any other types of ships so it’d be great for ideas to help out.

As I've said in the other thread, I think a new ship is a wonderfull Idea, and I can help there - the Serenity RPG book has a lot of ship plans in it, or the "Dark Heresy - Rogue Trader" book has a good section on ship creation, too, although these might be a bit too High-Gothic looking, setting-wise.

See I haven't been able to get any of the books or graphic novels(poor lol) so I'm not sure. When I did an image search on Serenity floorplan, a couple other ships popped up as well. But I'm kind of not sure where to start?

I love the idea of a new ship. Alora would probably go over with Haven. Or
maybe Alora left Serenity a year after and she's been on the new ship for a year and that's why the ships join up for a job. She'd definitely be the merc on the other ship though or maybe first mate if she landed that somehow.

But everything else will work out fine =] I think Alora being part of the other ship would be kickass! Maybe there was a medic but they split. Then Alora could send Haven a wave, knowing she wants to leave, & offer her the position. We just need a captain, figure out a class of ship & name. Then we can have the site reopened!

Cool, that works for me. I'll work up a positions list and attempt to research some ships from the series.

Yeah when I get a new keyboard I'll be able to helpout too. I think ships from other sifi shows might work too. I'm also going to redo the layout for Serenity(I have pictures) & whatnot tomorrow after work

well, like I said, the serenity RPG book has a full map of serenity and other ships...

yeah I'ma do a google search on images from that book =] now that i have a laptop lol just have to do something on my other site first then I'm spending the rest of the night on here doing stuff

Ummmm no lol It's ok though because I have an old desktop so I dunno if it can handle it. I will find something though. I have a bit before I go to my family reunion. Hoping to snag my sister's laptop

I must admit, i do like the look of the pride class, but the second one looks more believable in terms of what they might have been able to afford, lol.
