Haven walked into her family's shuttle. Going to the area that was sectioned off for her, Haven pulled her curtains around her bed and sat there for a moment. Sometimes the crowd got to her and she needed a moment to breath and refltect.
Her brother hadn't been that nervous in so long. It seemed she didn't need to play matchmaker after all. Pulling out her sketch book, Haven was working on her sketch of Wash and Shephard Book for a memorial. She may not have known them, but their words echo in Serenity as if they still were present.

As Haven finished her sketch, her mind felt a lot clearer. No one had come to bug her and she was grateful for that. She loved new people, but sometimes she loved being alone. Looking at her work, she decided she would hang it in the kitchen before everyone went in for dinner.
That sketch was a profile of both Wash and Book's faces. Wash had his goofy smile that she often saw in pictures and videos of him; while book had that look of wisdom about him. Their faces blended together, Wash's to the bottom left and Book's to the upper right. There were lillies drawn to the sides of each of their heads to fill the negative space. Serenity was above them, streaking through the sky, in it's dust, the stars formed the words, 'Always in our hearts.'
Haven was proud of her work. Lately she was rarely proud of anything. But she didn't want to wait to show everyone. Washing her hands of all the pencil dust, she found a silver frame with a plastic face and slipped the picture in it. She would go back to the cargo bay and show everyone.
