Removing The Bullet

Simon looked at River before saying "Yes, I had noticed that in the Cargo bay earlier." he chuckled slightly. "You sure your okay?" he asked, concern creeping over his face.

"Yes" said River knowing that she was lying but she couldn't help it.

She didn't want anymore medicine.

[Simon Tam]

"Hmm." Simon crossed his arms, still looking at River, then looking around and saying "Come on, lets get you out of here. Vincent will be OK, I promise." as he walked over to her to lead her back to the common room.

"Alright" said River

River was actually going to let herself be lead out of the med bay.

Simon put his arms around River, and lead her back up to the Common room.

River just lets him lead her back to the commons

Vincent was still pretty out of it. He wasn't asleep as such, just in need of a good rest. It had been a long day what with the kidnapping, new crew, getting shot and new relationships forming left and right. He was thinking about River the whole time, her smile, the way she moves with such grace, how beautiful she's look in a wedding dress. Then his thoughts turned to the job, going into the heart of Alliance territory, seeing her getting taken away and him being unable to do anything about it. The shock of it woke him up. He looked around, startled, and seeing that the doctor had already left and seeing the stitches in his shoulder. He sat himself up, clutching his head. He dream was more troubling than anything he had ever seen or felt before.

Simon walked in to see Vincent sitting up, looking rather groggy. Simon walked over to him and checked his pulse. "You gave my sister a fright there, Vincent, I didnt realise how tired you must have been, and I think she was watching." he said, checking Vincents Pupil Dilation with a small torch.

"Well, to be fair, i did get shot. And I did get the knowlegde of Mal's where abouts forced into my head." He blinked a lot after Simon flashed the light in his eyes. That was the problem with having better vision than most people, sensitive to light. "Better go see if she's doin' alright, hadn't I?" Still feeling a little groggy, he got up and made his way out. He figured Simon would protest but he had to go see if River was ok, his dream had really gotten to him. Plus, Vincent never was one to follow doctor's orders.

Simon was about to say something but realised that it wouldnt have made any difference wth vincent, so he simply went back to tidying away the things he had got out.
