This is currently a WIP - so it isn't perfect yet.
OOC Note: Kaylee's personality isn't the type to hate or really dislike anyone, however this must be said just in case because you never know who's knickers can get in a royal twist. Here it goes - if any of my characters dislike or hate any of your charcters IG (in game) or IC (in character)...IT DOES NOT mean that I [as the player] dislike you [as the player] OOC (out of character). Basically don't take IC stuff personally...nuff said.
If however you have a problem with me or one of my characters OOC for some reason, please feel free to PM me or an admin and we can hopefully work it out as best as possible to everyone's satisfaction.

Oh Simon Simon Simon…Kaylee is absolutly in love with Simon – simple as that. She wouldn’t have ended up in his bed, having his babies, and marry him if her feelings were anything but. Seems they made a good choice too seeing how they been togeather happily for so many years. That's not to say they havn't had their fair share of ups and downs like every normal married couple in the verse, but she darn sure wouldn't trade it for the world. She would do darn near anything for her Husband, including laying down her own life if need be. She firmly believes theirs is that once in a lifetime kind of love.

Mal is an interesting mixture of Kaylee’s protective big brother and overbearing father. She would bet out of everyone on the crew, excluding her husband and kids, that she loves him the most (like family). Of course she wouldn’t ever tell anyone that because she doesn’t like to play favorites (except with Simon and her kids of course) – but she bets secretly that everyone knows it. He gave her this opportunity, and he watches out for her and she appreciates it so much he’ll never really know. If it weren't for Mal giving her the job on Serenity she never would have ended up in life where she was now. However this doesn’t mean he doesn’t irritate the wiggins out of her sometimes. She can’t stand when he treats her like a child that can’t make her own sound decisions (though its less often now then when she first got on board), and also when he refuses to get her the parts she needs on time despite her pestering for them. She also bets she is the only one able to get away yellin’ at him without serious repercussions (not that she gets that angry often). She considers everyone her “Crew Family” but Mal is the only one out of the group that she really considers Family Family to her – even if he isn’t blood family, she has adopted him like true family into her heart.
Jayne…she likes Jayne – he’s real honest with her and doesn’t sugar coat things or censor himself just because she’s around. She appreciates that he treats her like the adult that she is. She can also see that he’s also really protective of her too. She knows he has his “flaws” but she just considers them personality quirks really. She’s talked with him at length a few times and knows he’s smarter than he lets on, hell you don’t become a mercenary as good as he is and not have some sorts of good brains upstairs. Before Simon came on board and captured her attention she’d find herself admirin’ him lots…maybe no one else thinks so but she finds him to be a mighty attractive man, at least physically, even in his older age. Mal and everyone might not trust him so much, but she does…she trusts him like she trusts everyone unconditionally. Maybe that’s why they get along as well as they dol – because she affords him the same trust and friendship she does everyone else without looking over her shoulder to see if he’s going to turn on them (she knows people can sense when you do that).
Wash....she misses him every day. She considered Wash one of her best buddies of all time on the ship. He was really the only one that understood her kind of love for Serenity and shared it with her. She misses the times she used to talk to him for hours on end, now she just reflects on fond memories like the time he tried to teach her to fly - yeah, that didn’t work out so well. Kaylee is a fixer, not a flyer. Wash was just very easy to get along with, and she found him very amusing and entertaining. Way back when he used to be the only good listener that would really listen when she needed to talk about what was bothering her or going on in her life. His presence on Serenity is greatly missed but she keeps him in her heart.
Kaylee likes Zoe, she does, but she isn’t sure where she stands in terms of her relationship with the woman. Sure, she knows they have eachothers back, knows zoe would die for her if need be, but she always seemed so serious and hardlined to her, and it only turned especially so when she lost Wash. She wouldn’t doubt that they are not the closest of friends in comparison to everyone else on the ship because they honestly have very little in common and their personalities are so very very different, but she loves Zoe all the same.
She loves Inara like a sister and best friend. Inara is someone she has always sort of admired and adored. She makes her feel all warm and fuzzy in a good way, and she is real easy to talk to. Even though they come from two different worlds in a sense she has always been easy for Kaylee to get along with. She finds excuses sometimes just to go to her shuttle and see her. She also has a fascination with all her pretty things, especially all the shiny clothes she wears.
If Kaylee ever had a real life blood sister – she would wish that is was River. She loves River, and she can understand why Simon is so protective and concerned for her but Kaylee knows that she is more than capable of taking care of herself, and she isn’t crazy at all. Sometimes Kaylee might not understand exactly what she is saying, but she can understand the vibe of her words all the same. It’s like they have a shared bond or connection, River, out of everyone really seems to understand her best. Kaylee also doesn’t find her ability to read minds all that upsetting or disturbing like some of the others do…in her eyes everyone has a talent or gift and no one looks at her weird because she can repair any sort of machine, or at Jayne because he can handle nearly any sort of weapon with deadly accuracy, or at Wash because he could fly like no other in the verse, so why would she look at River weird because she can do something she can’t, that jus’ don’t make a lick of sense.

Kaylee thinks that Book was a mighty nice preacher man, but she never really talked to him much, and she regrets that every day. She was never a huge fan of being preached to about religion and faith – but she wasn't rude enough to stop him when (or if) he got to talking to her about it. She liked him as a person though; he was one of the few that had a big heart just like her even if he expressed it differently. He also brought her strawberries every now and then and anyone that does that is good in her books.
