Malcolm was moving about his ship looking over different things. They had some cargo they were bringing to Paquin. It wasn’t a large pay out but still paid well enough. They got enough from the Persephone job they could get by for a month or two fuel wise. And that passenger seemed to be a fine enough cook she could protein with nearly everything. Reminded the captain of Book with how skillful she was with her spice rack. She kept to herself any other time which he liked best. No use in getting attached to passengers like this crew had done before. As he walked into the kitchen for something to snack on he didn’t see her or anyone else. He grabbed some noodle dish from the other night and tossed it on the burner to be heated up.
While there he went over what they had in stock. That little lady did good in keeping the place stocked up on cheap foods which he liked. Figuring she’d say something he finished in there and threw it in a bowl. Walking through the halls he chomped on the food while poking his head in various places. Simon wasn’t in the infirmary and Kayle was going over the engine. Of course she babbled about some needed parts but what else was new? After finishing with teasing her Malcolm didn’t have much else to do so he went on to the cargo bay. leaning against the rails of the cat walk he worked on finishing the bowl of food while looking over the cargo. They were shipping some statues but from what he understood something was baked into them. What he didn’t care too much. As long as he got paid what he was promised and he could keep flying was all that mattered. With most of the crew getting up there in years, Malcolm wanted as little problems as possible. To him he’d keep flying this thing til he died but no one could know if that’d happen.
