Jaden was bored she had no clients today and nothing to do for Lola at this moment. She had only been back on Santo for two months and already she wanted to leave it the men on this planet were grabby and evil, she was already in trouble for kicking one of them this week. Lucky for her the alliance loved her work and let her off. The only thing good right now was that she was no longer nineteen she was a year older and not knew as a baby anymore. With some birthday money in her pocket she headed out of her family home and started for the market. Her maids were already shopping her food and other means of things she needed but she was out to get herself something nice.
It was December but it was not cold it was one of the only things she liked about Santo she never had to dress warm it was always too hot for that and it help her get a tan. She loved her tan smiling she walks past a few drunken men and figured they were going to fight soon moving away quickly she continued on her way. Most people left her alone because of who her caretaker was but also because she was knew for hiding people that needed help to get away from the alliance. She didn’t let them stay long but she clothed and feed lots of people that needed it.
Moving to the market she smiled at a few of the women around and talked to her maid for a moment giving her a few more things to get for her. She needed a new tea set after a client broke hers. “Thank you Marissa” she whispered to the young girl as she walked away. Stopping finally at her favorite jewelry outside shop she started to look around she needed a couple of rings and a few more necklaces to add to an outfit for a meeting with a man that really liked to see her in jewelry and only that. There was never any touching but the man just liked to look at her and he paid well so she didn’t complain.

His old employer and friend had clammed up, wanting the others to continue the job. Jude had taken this to the one untouched planet. Santo. There were a couple sisters there who had built a little empire for themselves. And since he had no want to run Fox’s empire himself, he had found his way here. Except for a few of his trusted body guards and workers, most everyone else had been dismissed. After approaching the girls about merging together, he had settled into a new home here on Santo. A bit warmer then Persephone, but he still went about wearing his normal favorites of suits. They were a bit modified as when he went outside, he ahrdly wore a jacket. Vests replaced those.
Here he was their Oz. Jude would go to the meetings, posing as one of the Santo girls. Except as far as most people knew it was just siblings-no one knew their gender unless they got a personal meeting with them. He’d go to the meetings but they’d use an ear com to direct him in the direction they wanted if he steered away. He didn’t mind as he was more muscle then anything. It’s why he had no desire to take over his old friends empire-he didn’t like running things on his own. Being a decoy was perfect because if anyone found out he could definitely take care of them. Walking in Santo, none of his guards were there. He felt safe enough walking here as most people knew about his association with the Espinoza’s so they steered clear. Plus it wasn’t has inhabited as Persephone so it was easier to go walking.
Twisting around his ring on his middle finger, he noticed another associate of the girls. Jude couldn’t recall her name but he had seen her around them and knew she was a companion. He wasn’t entirely sure what her job with them was but he figured it was always good to know who was who. Trying not to startle her, Jude walked in to the jewelry store she was looking in. Pursuing himself, he was always on the look out for a new watch. he loved them and had quit a collection. Reaching where she was looking for some pieces for what he presumed was herself, he gazed over what was before her. ”Impressive.” Looking sideways at her he attempted to smile. It wasn’t something he did very often but he didn’t want to seem creepy. ”I don’t think we’ve been introduced but I’ve seen you at dinner with Lola and Kitty.” His voice was calculated. Despite everyone knowing who they were, he didn’t go around throwing their names to every passer by.

Jaden smiled as she had a few things wrapped up and sent back to her house it was always fun to go shopping for nice shiny things. She was still young just turned twenty she was no long a child but an adult it was a big moment for her and made her happy. She turned and started to look at more things she wanted to get her older sister something nice seeing that they just started to get to know one another. “Which one” she whispered as she turned again to look at a bracelet behind her. Jaden always moved with such grace it amazed everyone around her that she could move a simple step look so beautiful.
She was a companion so she knew that everyone thought they could come right up to her so it was not a surprise when an older man did. What confused her was she thought she had seen him before but couldn't remember where. “Thank you that piece was a birthday present for myself and this one” she said pointing to the bracelet “is for m older sister Sophia Ross” she said sweetly and in a kind tone. Looking at him she noticed that he was looking sideways it was a little weird and his smile seemed kind of forced but she wasn't going to say anything if he knew Kitty and Lola she was going to be respectful.
Turning she looked into his eyes and smiled “Yes I know them almost everyone on Santo does” she said with a small laugh. She was not sure what to say she didn't normally let on that she knew them and worked for them it some times makes her clients scared. “I'm Jaden Ross its nice to meet you hmm, I”m sorry whats your name?” she asked in a sweet almost flirting tone.

L I K E. P R A Y E R S. I N. M Y. P O C K E T S. Jude nodded as the girl spoke. She seemed the very opposite of him as she was very open. At least about what she was up to. "For yourself? A girl shouldn't have to buy a present for herself." He made a mental note to catch the jewelry and have that put on his account instead. He may not know the girl but he also knew girls should be a little spoiled. Though Jude had business associates he didn't really have many true friends. So e never knew what to say when casually hanging around people. Usually he let them talk and he just listened. Growing up around Fox and her father he had learned to be careful about feeling too much. Most of his emotions went into his watch collection which he took a lot of pride in. He had a whole closet with shelves to display his timepieces.
To be honest, Jude didn't know too many companions very well. He had needs but there was one woman who took care of those when he wanted back in Persephone. Maybe he'd find someone like that here but right now he was too busy. Shifting everything so Santo was the main base of operations had been hard. Then he had to find himself a home since he had none here and working out the rouse the sister's wanted to have kept to people outside of Santo. While he had no problems with any of it, all that took time and energy he didn't have too much of. Part of him felt guilty that Fox was taking the fall for things but it was her wish. It might be the slightly insane part of her talking but Jude knew if she got out she'd just rebuild herself again. It had been her idea to approach the girls after all.
Jude chuckled. "I am sorry I did not mean anything by it. I just thought I'd get to know you since it seems you'll be around theur events a lot." Jude had no idea about their arrangement but at some point he would probably find out. The twins and him were going over many things each day so everyone was on the same page. When the watches he wanted to see were placed in front of him, he leaned forward to whisper in jewelry's ear about putting the item for herself on his account. What he said wasn't audible to anyone but the two men. As ge straightened himself out he extended his hand. "Jude McCallister. People me Jun. It's a pleasure." There was probably more that could be said but he saw no point in it at this moment. Mainly because he drew a blank in social situatiins like this. His fingers rubbed at his chin as more genuine grin appeared. "If you're being that sweet because you think I'm trying to get your services for an event that is not so. I'm just trying to get to know everyone here. But if you are genuine then I think we shall get along very well. I like to have interesting people around." Even if he didn't have friends vastly different people was something he enjoyed. Mostly because Jude liked to study people around him.

Jaden looked at him in shock it was the first time she always brought things for herself. Looking around she wondered if she should know this man or if his business has nothing to do with her. Taking a breath as smiled “Oh it’s no big deal I’m used to being on my own don’t really know my parents and have been on Santo since I got out of school” she said politely. If he did work for Kitty she had to be nice seeing that she was in the girl’s debt. She didn’t have many friends but the school taught her how to fake it. She nodded slowly to a guy walking by, he was one of her clients that she wished wasn’t but he paid her good money so she really took the abuse. Turning back to Jude she hid the fear in her eyes from seeing that man. “No sorry you didn’t do anything wrong and yes I wouldn’t mind to get to know you maybe we can dance at those events” she said with a laugh.
Jaden looked at his hand for a moment before she took it and nodded again. Letting his hand go she looked at the watches “Those are really nice do you collect them?” she asked softly she wasn’t sure what was up with this man he seemed to want to get to know her but he didn’t talk much; it freak her out a little as she looked at the necklace to the right of her she just didn’t know if she should get anything she really didn’t need to she just wanted to after all no one really got her anything for her birthday. “Jude” she said as she repeated it for her mind to think Jade remembered the two girls talking about someone with that name.
She laughed at his comment about her being sweet and smiled as she thought about how to explain it to him. “I’m sweet to everyone I meet until they piss me off then I am a evil mean girl” she said jokingly as she patted his shoulder “I know you are not looking for services and I don’t go around looking for new clients normally the clients find me I don’t need to go looking for them.” She said yes she knew it was a little on the cocky side but it was true her looks got her far on this planet. “Well I’m sure we will get along fine and I am a very interesting person people just never stay around long enough to know the real me” she didn’t know why she was telling him this but she felt she could trust him.

L I K E. P R A Y E R S. I N. M Y. P O C K E T S. Jude was surprised at how open this girl was being with him. it was actually something he wasn’t very used to. His own life had been mundane aside from running with Badger and Fox. He went home at night after everything he helped out with and had a somewhat normal meal with his parents. He knew people came from all different backgrounds but was still surprised at what people wished to share. ”I get the alone thing somewhat. I’ve had guards with me but have mostly been taking care of myself since leaving home.” At lest she understood where he was coming from in talking. Jude had been making the rounds of getting to know people associated with the girls. Yet, he hadn’t approached anyone out in the public like this. All had been during other events or when they came by to talk to one of the twins. For some reason he wanted to seek out talking to this girl outside of that. Perhaps it was because he went about things alone and wasn’t sure if that’s how he wanted to live life anymore. Jude looked from her face down to where her gaze was. As he rubbed at his chin, he nodded. ”I collect time pieces of all sorts. Pieces from Earth-That-Was, more modern bits and decorative pieces such as these. Mainly i have watches but larger clocks are in a very special room as well. Don’t need people annoyed with the noises they make.” He winked playfully before motioning for it all to be wrapped up.
Jude smiled as he shook his head softly. ”Now aren’t companions supposed to keep feelings such as that to themselves?” This girl was definitely intriguing. She had all the proper looks and mannerisms of a companion but had no problem speaking her mind as well. Perhaps that’s why the sister’s had taken her under their wings. Why they had done so he wasn’t sure yet but if he was to find out he was sure to keep it to himself. No reason to freak her out even more by the fact he knew private information without her telling him. With a chuckle, he raise dhis brows in surprise. ”A bit confident in your skills, hmmm? Have you ever thought it is because you are the only decent companion around?” This was the first time Jude had cracked a proper joke around her; or as proper of a joke as he could get. Spending years around Fox and her father had hardened him so sarcasm was more in his vocabulary then anything else. He was trying to change that since the people here weren’t as crazy as Fox was so it was a completely different pace then Jude was used to.
