Been so busy the last couple weeks. Hardly had time to think which has been a good thing. With the last job Malcolm had money to stock up the galley. I bought plenty of local produce where we had stopped and preserved them. The kitchen has been insane. There have been times i haven’t taken care of the pots properly and had the captain barging in asking why it’s a chaotic mess. Slowly learning to tell him to bug off and that it will be done. Inara has been helping there because she told me it works best. Still, within an hour I usually do what is asked. But then it’s a chaotic mess again. Oh well; they’ll appreciate it when we can have vegetables in a month that still taste freshly picked. Thank you Bettie for these skills.
