Daniel was disapointed with himself. Bella wanted to tell him something important but he just refused to listen. "Wait, wait." He stood up with her and held her hands, "I didn't mean it like that. I just wanted you to know how much I don't want to know about him." He looked down to her hands and started to stroke them with his thumb. He imagined the ring they just brought on her finger. "If you really need to te....te....what?" Daniel wasn't sure what he just heard. It happened so fast he couldn't really take it in. "You...........love me?"

A smile crept over his face. He didn't even realise he was doing it.

Bella was frozen slightly. Her facial expressions were unmoving and her body slightly stiff. She thought he’d run away. Well, in the sense of the word. Smiling slowly, she nodded, playing this his fingers. “Yeah I do.” Despite it being so soon after meeting, she loved him.

Daniel just kept smiling at Bella. He didn't expect to hear it so soon. He didn't know what to say, well he did, he was just having trouble getting the words out. A part of him didn't think that this was real, as though he was expecting to just wake up at any moment. Once he thought that he managed to work up the courage to tell her, dream or otherwise, he didn't want to miss this chance. "I love you too." He leaned in closer and gently gave her a kiss.

Bella thought that she had done something wrong. He wasn’t saying anything at all. It frightened her really. Did she rush into things? She never jumped without looking. She didn’t say things unless she meant it. And she meant this. In all actuality, it took her a good solid month and a half to say it with Alec. But with Daniel, this was something that was more real then a fling. But she was ecstatic when he finally said those words back to her. She wrapped her arms around his waist as they kissed, savoring this moment.

Daniel still couldn't believe what was happening. He put his arms around Bella and held her close to him. He has never wanted to hold onto someone more. Right now, he felt more than capable of pretending to be her husband because, in the back of his mind, he knew he would actually be her husband one day. He continued to kiss her. It already felt as though they had been doing this for hours, but he carried on kissing her anyway.

Bella let her hands move up some, so they were aligned with is back. She wanted to be as close to him as possible. She didn’t notice anyone who stopped and stared. All she noticed that she was kissing the man who was able to have her open up again. Who was able to let her trust again. Who she could be herself around. This was who she wanted.

This was the single most perfect moment of Daniel's life. He was able to comfortable tell her how much he loved her, and she loved him back. Not only that, but she never even flinched when he kissed her. He stopped kissing her and rested his forehead against hers. "So, how are you feeling?"

Bella watched him with loving eyes, unwilling to break the kiss. For the first time, no nerves shivered through her body. She was completely relaxed. Unafraid of the gentle touch. Of what it could hold. All she wanted was to know what it could hold. Running her thumb between his shoulder blades, she chuckled lightly. “Great. If you mean my whole nerves and shakey thingy, none of that. You calm me.”

"Yeah, I noticed. I'm glad to hear that," Daniel was actually quite surprised that Bella didn't flinch at all, not even a little one. It was strange, he had become so used to Bella flinching when he touched her, he actually missed feeling the little twinge in her body that he felt when it happened. He placed his hands on her cheeks before kissing her again. He couldn't get enough of it. He never wanted to stop.

Betty came out of the store with a bag of supplies. She had temporary dye. They would have to deal with a week of this stuff though. The day long ones were gone. Wouldn’t be in for a week. She slipped the change into the pocket as the sun glared in her eyes.

Getting used to the light, she spotted Bell and Daniel a little ways off. She smiled at first. They seemed so happy. But her smile wavered as she watched them openly kiss in public. Bella would always be her little girl. Hovering near them, but out of sight, she heard them confess her love. That troubled her. But she did notice something.

The shakes Bella told her about, weren’t there.

Approaching the two, she cleared her throat, looking between them and around. “I’m all set if you two are.”

Bella searched his face, his eyes. Not for anything in particular, just to look upon the, “I am too. You saved me.” His touched made her eyes close. She knew it now. Rough from working, yet gentle to her. She had grown accustomed to his touch on her skin. It soothed her. She set her own hands upon his and softly kissed him, letting him in a bit more then she normally did.

Betty was a slight surprise. Bella’s eyes opened first, then she pulled back. The sweet moment had ended. She blushed as she nodded lightly. “I-I think we’re ready.” She felt a little embarrassed.

When Daniel heard Betty's voice, he pulled back from Bella. He nervously started looking all over the place, anywhere but at Betty. He was so embarrassed. "I um.......w.......th.......c......" It was as though Daniel had completely forgotten how to talk. Betty's sudden appearance came as such a surprise. His face was now bright red. "C-c-can we...." He started to gesture back towards the ship.

Bella noticed the reversed roles. Grabbing his hand, she laced her fingers with him. Reassurance. The same that he often gave her when she had an episode. “Yes we can.” She walked by his side. She waited for Betty to catch up before asking, “Ho much did it all cost?” This would be fun trying to dye everyone’s hair tonight.

Betty chuckled. She couldn’t help it. “Ease up soldier. It’s fine.” Well, it wasn’t in some sense. But he needed that to be said. Walking on the other side of Bella, they were silent a moment. “I did. There was no twenty four hour stuff. So, the crew will have to suffer for a week.” It would be interesting to see what they all would say. Or react.

Daniel gave a huge sigh of relief when Betty said that it was ok. He looked down and noticed Bella's hand lacing her fingers with his. He felt so much better when she did. He started to walk back towards the ship. Daniel couldn't help but chuckle when Betty said that everyone had to have hair dye in for a week. "Thats gonna be so funny to watch."
