Dave looked over at Mal "Fine bird you have back there, and yes, shes started up." he said.

He looked over to vincent and could tell he was getting annoyed at how long they where spending here. "Just shoot him and lets get out of here." hesaid before turning to go out the door.

Vincent was a little relieved to hear that he was just muscle again. Being incharge of new people was starting to wear him down. "Don't worry Mal, I've got my eye on her. Although I could do with River's help. How 'bout I take her back to the ship?" Vincent had a different agenda in taking Alora back, he didn't really need help. If she tried anything he felt he could handle her, to an extent. When River comunicated the message, it seemed as though she left a strong inprint on his mind. He had to go back and see her.

Mal gaev a funny look to Jayne. "We got a cook? Since when?" All he coudl htink of was this wa sRiver's doing. As long as this cook was good, he was happy. If they sucked, Mal would have to kick them off. Or if they were Alliance bound. Then he would have problems.

That thought hit him. "No one told this cook abotu what we do did they?" Mal alway stold the new ones about what they did on Serenity. Everyone else should know not to by now. If they ahd told this cook, they were all in trouble.

Jayne walked over by Mal. Gene had the guy, though he wasn't oto fond of Gene. "Not me. Unless River did, but I don't think she would. or one of the blabber mouth kids." Mal looked ready to blow a gasgit. He wasn't too sure to hold back or not. "This cook is a looker." He tilted his head in thought. "That 's despite the long skirts and coverin' tops. I think Daniel has already laid eyes upon her too." They could all tell Daniel liked the girl. He saw it peeking into the ship watching him come to the cargo bay.

James lowered his guns, "Thanks..." James quietly walked out, and took a short walk and didn't find anything or anyone. "Vincent was right, this is pointless." James walked back, and put his back to the door, and leaned in. "Hey, don't mean to rush your joyous reunion, but could we save it for the ship. I don't like sitting here and doing nothing..." James felt slightly uncomfortable, and slightly vulnerable just waiting. The fact he couldn't see the man made him cool off, a lot. He was able to think straight, and just sitting here waiting was not gonna help anything. "You all can stay and chat, but I don't wanna be here any longer than I need to be..." James looked toward the front door, and part of him wished he had never spoken to that stranger, but part of him was happy he did.

Alora glared at Mal for putting her under watch. And she wasn't overly to excited with having a talk, but they all did need to talk that was. Alora was going to pretty much rip a whole in their little lifestyle...oops. It's not like it was her fault she was genetically engineered. Now she really wished she had grown up like every other normal kid, and not in a lab with a foster mother. All she knew about the worlds were what the Alliance had chosen to teach her, but slowly she was coming to realizations about the worlds.

"Alright, since everyone's getting antsy let's get this show on the road then." She gave Vincent a quirky smile, and attempted to start walking away from the group, knowing very well Vincent would be hovering not even a foot behind her.

Oddly enough, Vincent returned her smile. He had a feeling she wouldn't try to escape. But that didn't mean he had complete trust in her. "Just don't make any sudden movements." He waved his gun towards the door. He waited for Alora to leave before leaving himself.

Dave had turned around when he had reached the doors, he was getting annoyed himself now. He watched Vincent leave with the girl, and then he turned to Mal before saying "So? what we going to do about that?" jerking his head to the guy they had in the corner. "Im all for putting a bullet in his head." he said as he cocked his rifle.

Mal followed Vincent. he was ready to leave here. Listening to Jayne, he did his famous eye roll. "Jayne! Don't talk about her like that." He was worried though. Would Daniel get too wrapped up too fast? On board romances were touchy. This was proven with Daniel's parents, with him and Inara.

Looking back at the guy he shrugged. "Sure, why not. Just don't make it look suspicious." The last part was meant for a joke.

Jayen acted dumb. "What? She is a looker Mal!" Jayne always spoke the truth about women. he tended to try and bed thm was Mal's problem. but Jayne wanted someone a little older. Not much, but alittle. "Ah come on Mal, why'd I touch Daniel's eye candy?" He followed out after the captain and Vincent.

Dave looked at James and Gene, and pulled out his pistol, shooting the man they had cornered square between the eyes and holstering it in less than a scond. the mans body fell backwards. Dave looked at them and shrugged before saying "What?" and left to follow the others.

Alora rolled her eyes at everyone and continued on out the door, following the pack, considering...she had no idea where she was going other than to the landport to board the ship. And that was about all she knew, and all she wanted to know for now.

James pocketed the guns, and sighed. He didn't know what to think of Dave's decision, but Mal did say it. James just walked out of the building and slowly followed Vincent back to Serenity. He couldn't help but feel like something was missing.

Although Gene supported Dave's decision to shoot the man, he was a little disappointed that he wasn't able to inflict some pain before they killed him. "Oh well. At least that's one less scumbag out there." He followed everyone back to the ship.

About a half a hour after Mal's crew left Fredrick's on the floor of the shack, a tall man enter dress in the uniform of a Alliance captain fallowed by three armed soldiers.

That went well. At least now we wont have to pay the Merc.

The captain said as he kick Fredrick's body out of the corner. The captain knelled down and pulled a piece of paneling off the wall. Behind it was a data recording terminal. He pull the memory module out of it and gave it to a four soldier that had just walked in. The Fourth soldier plug the module into a mobile viewing unit; its screen flash to life and played back the occurrences of the last few hour including Malcolm's rescue and Fredrick's death.

It appears that we have failed to get a positive ID on River Tam but this operation wasn't a total lost. It appears that Mr. Reynolds has befriended several other Alliance "Persons of interest".

The captain grabbed the viewer away from the soldier and stuck it under his arm as he walk out of the shack.

"Burn it to the ground."
