"Well, if you're done pointing that piece of yours at me, i might go outside for a moment."
Dave put his rifle over the back of his neck, an arm over each end, and walked out the open cargo-bay doors.

It didn't take long for Daniel to agree to Vincent's terms. He looked over to his family to see their reactions before he openly accepted. When he saw his sister nod, he turned back to Vincent and shook his hand. "Agreed." Daniel had fired a gun quite a few times, he did quite well when he did, but he have never fired a live round at someone. He walked over to the weapons locker and started to choose a gun for himself.

Haven noticed how easy it seemed for her brother to take charge. if he wanted, someday he could be captain of Serenity. He was a smart kid, smarts that Haven didn't have, and that's why she admired him so much.

Rubbing her hands together, she looked around. "So, what's the plan? Cause we shouldn't jsut jump them cause do we really know hwo many other's there could be?" SHhe looked between everyone. Just because one hand grabbed Mal, it didn't mean that there went others. That was one thing she learned quickly here on Serenity-always expect more people.

"No I'll stay here with River and Bella, you all go, that way someone is here for them, River and I can handle anything that comes along." Inara said seriously, kicking Jayne in the back of knee as he passed her in retaliation for his very cheap shot as to her status as a woman.

"You all go and bring me back my captain alright?" she said pointedly before turning and heading back up to the Kitchen.

Dave came in from outside, rifle slung over his shoulder, looking in a very gung-ho atitude, he stopped a few feet away from the others before saying "We doin this thing or what?"

[OOC - well, alot has happened since Inara last posted so she kinda has to play catchup a bit. Inara, you can keep the thing about Jayne but you may want to mention kicking him just before he left.]

"Good lad. You know it makes sense." He saw Daniel head over to the weapon's locker, Vincent then only just remembered one of the packages on the back of his bike. He took it and handed it to Daniel. "Now, I was gonna wait till your next birthday, but, I think you'll get better use out of them now. Haven, you can have yours when we get back."

Vincent sheathed his largest sword and put his cloak on like a cape. He wasn't able to wear it properly as his sword got in the way. He paced around the cargo bay for a moment and then looked back at everyone. He spoke clearly so that everyone could hear, "OK everyone. First things first. We can't do anything until we find out where they're keepin' Mal. With any luck, they're stupid enough to still be in town somewhere. As for what to do when we find them...i'll think of...somethin'." It wasn't unusual for Vincent to not plan anything properly. He prefers to just wing it, he finds it more fun if nothing is planned ahead. "Everyone ready?"

Haven smiled at Inara. She could tell she was worried, and she knew it was because of all those unsettled feelings between the two of them. If only they could jsut settle down together, but things were never that simple with them.

Turning her gaze back to Vincent, her heart began to race. This was it! They were headed out to save their captain. She was scared and nervous and thrilled all at the same time. "I'm ready." The drive of showing him her new sketch, her present adn hugging her uncle once more was all that drove Haven to go on. Yes, they would succeed.

Daniel already had and idea as to what was in the package. Vincent couldn't have made it any more obvious if he had spelled it out directly. He wasn't all that keen on guns but he did his best to look enthusiastic. When he opened the package, he was amased at what he saw. These guns were golden with what appeared to be dragons inlayed on the grip. There was an inscription across the barrels. It was written in some language that he couldn't understand, but he didn't care. These were truely beautiful pieces. "Wow...I um...I-I don't know what to say."

He showed them to his parents and his sister. "Well, what d'ya think? Certainly look nice, don't they." There was something about them he couldn't explain. Combined with his present desire to prove himself, just holding them made him feel strong enough to do it. He looked back to Vincent, "I'm ready." Daniel had never felt more determined in his life.

"well, sounds to me like everyone is set, Shall we?" Dave said before striding out the cargo bay door, rifle in hands.

Simon looked over the pistols that his son ws holding. He looked up at Daniel before saying "Very nice, the handiwork is exquisite." before looking over to Vincent to say "Im ready aswell."

As James entered the cargo bay, he slammed the clip back into place, and slid the safety on. James looked at the twin pistols, and the boy holding them, and couldn't help himself, "Nice guns... But you sure a kid like yourself can handle em?" and he put the pistol into belt, because he didn't have his holster. James took a look over at Vincent, "When we doin this?"

Vincent looked back to Daniel, "Springfield armory custom 1911 loaded long slides done in 24 carat gold mate. You will never find handguns as finely crafted as them in all the verse." Vincent finished checking his guns and putting spare mags in his pockets. Vincent walked over to the exit and looked back at everyone, "OK lads.....and lasses. Lets save the captain."

Haven went behind her brother and gazed at his guns. They were nice and a well thought of gift.

Taking a deep breath and stepped out wiht Vincent. This was the scariest thing she would ever do, but she was ready. Mal was family and she was ready to save her family. He needed to be here to protect the crew-and so Haven could go to him as needed. Because Haven needed her anchor when she couldn't confide in her parents.

Just as Dave satepped out the door, he turned back, a smile on his face, "It doesnt get any better than this, kid." he said to daniel before taking the final step onto ezra's surface once again, following Vincent.

After showing off his shiny new guns to his family, Daniel holstered them and stocked up on spare mags. He quickly went to catch up with his sister, right now the least they could do was protect one another. He glared at Dave and James on his way out. Now a days, he didn't like it when people called him a kid or child or anything like that. Granted James was a few years older than him but Dave didn't look much older than he was, couple years max. Being called a kid by someone who was no older than him was nothing short of insulting. Daniel wanted to have a word with Dave but it would have to wait. Instead, he simply said, "I can handle myself. You just worry about yourself."
